Twins? Is anyone showing at 7 weeks? Is it possible? I haven't had my first ultrasound yet, so I don't know for sure. I heard that if you show that earlier, it could be twins. Is that true? I'm also showing a lot. 9 weeks. Probably just swollen. This is my third. But thinking twins is fun. Dr's appointment not until 21. I was showing at 7 weeks (9 now) and just confirmed that I only have 1 LO there. This is my first, I feel beyond swelling, and at the end of the day I see myself 5 months pregnant!!! But I had my first ultrasound 3 days ago and there's only one there! How do you manage the swelling? As I am similar to you and very uncomfortable While some who "show" early have twins, it is much more likely to be simply swelling. Look at this. Looks like I'm showing. But there's only one baby in there and it was just the size of an olive. Uterus is down there. Even fun to get pregnant, though :) I am showing a lot, I have 11 weeks with my first. Everyone thought twins but they only had a bub on the scan. I see about five months. Everyone's body is different:) I'm pregnant with my first, almost 9 weeks, and I have problems with button pants, etc. since week 6. I'm sure it's just swollen. Some don't show up until 12 weeks. Everyone is different.I am, in fact, pregnant with twins, and 10 weeks along. I'm not showing up yet and I haven't gained any weight. However, I have been swollen over the last few weeks. Now they are the size of plums, and apparently being wrapped by a grapefruit-sized uterus! Congratulations! I'm pregnant with twins (8w3d) and I haven't gained any weight, but I certainly have trouble buttoning my pants, especially at the end of the day. It's just swollen. But I'm excited to start showing! It's swollen and all that fun. At 8 weeks, the baby has only 1/2 inch long and grows around a millimeter/day. She was severely swollen at 6 weeks and seemed more pregnant than now at 9 weeks. Is it shown? Hey, guys. I really feel so dumb writing this but I'm 7+1 pregnant but since 6 weeks I feel like I've been showing. I usually wake up in the morning with the flat stomach but since I'm pregnant my stomach feels hard and big and I can't stand any pressure on it (my kitten walks through me in the night that only has 4 months and I have to push it away) it's possible to show so early or it's water, etc. I've attached a picture a couple of days ago. Thanks xx It will swell with the increase of pregnancy hormones and should be relieved perhaps in 4 or 5 weeks then the real blow will begin! Thank you! It's crazy that it's so hard and it just feels huge! I figured it was all water I am currently pregnant with my third, a lot of swelling to start, set in about 9/10 weeks. I'm at 13 weeks now and I have a little blow.. I'm also 7+1 today! This is my second, and I already have a little bump. It is challenging not only to swell as it is firm at the top. You cared that I expected to show you early as they say you appear earlier in later pregnancies and with my first I had a remarkable blow before 12 weeks (multiple people suspected I was pregnant before we told them after the scan). The baby is currently the size of a raspberry so it's definitely not that you're showing so much. Between 6 and 10 weeks, I had such a terrible wind caught that it caused a bad swelling, but it has come down now. Oh, my God, I'm so jelly! I have 22 weeks and show a little less than you. No one can even tell Im pregnant while my friends have a blow I definitely started filling myself with my first start. He was not "demonstrating" as such, but he was definitely wider around the waist, despite not putting any weight on. I was in maternity jeans for my 12-week scanner. Even though I was saying that, they also put me on the scan for a few weeks! With my second, I was showing up early, but my stomach never recovered from me first! Hello Linda, congratulations on your pregnancy. Now I'm 13 weeks and it was like you at 7:00! I hated any pressure on my stomach. My weight also reached the peak and then went down again so I think it was definitely water retention! Looking at photos my blow now is the same size as the previous weeks, but I don't feel so horribly swollen and I can feel my uterus (a little hard ball) above my pubic bone. That said, when I hooked up on this myself a few weeks ago I found that people were strangely annoying almost saying "it's just swelling" and "it's not a REAL coup." The way I see it, your stomach wouldn't stay like this if you weren't pregnant, so I don't know how it could be anything but a "real" pregnancy punch! My friend had the same thing... he was surprised by the 12-week scan. I was the same. Good old pregnancy swelling. Now I have a very mild blow to almost 15 weeks but I look less pregnant than I did before. I have had a lot of "not putting any pressure on the abdomen!" which is happening. At 12 weeks he got much better, but sometimes even now, in almost 14 weeks, the pressure of a t-shirt is too much and I have to expose my belly, in all its glory, to whoever is in the room with me. Sophisticated Très. This all started for me at 6 weeks, and it was terrible. I would recommend going out and buying some maternity pants under blow (and be prepared to buy appliances to hold them! Or maybe he doesn't feel really sick while they buy, so you have the patience to try in other sizes! The cowboys haven't worked for me, but the yoga pants are very good and they're left with no extra help. I went to Mothercare because it's the first store I found with maternity clothes and it wasn't going a long time than the necessary purchases. I've been in them for 6 weeks, which felt a little ridiculous, but at least I'll get the value of my money! Now I'm almost 14 weeks and my blow is huge. It's mostly fat, but the swelling comes back easily (I'm bigger before bed, and it's less ridiculous in the morning), and the baby's definitely causing a little shake! I mean, the baby has been causing most of the blow all the time, but I think I can now feel my uterus, which is very exciting!@TokingtheLeap I fully understand that unless you were pregnant, it wouldn't be like that. However, what people mean is that it is not the size of the baby causing the blow when the baby is just the size of a raspberry at that stage. Your baby is barely visible at this point. It's swollen. @tokenginger @countessvonboobs I've read that even though the baby is small is her uterus that shows how it is expanding and everything is moving so no matter how big the baby is Your uturus is just twice as big now. It's swollen. But it's caused by her pregnancy. Congratulations, I went that way too at 7 weeks. Now almost 20 weeks and still the same size of lol x Your uterus is still completely contained by your pelvis at this stage so you can't really "show". It does not rise above the top of your pelvis until after 12 weeks. It'll be swelling. I was like that for years. I have 14 weeks tomorrow and now I'm showing. She also feels like a baby, although many people don't believe me. Yeah, I had a little hit in 10 weeks. Now I have 24 weeks to measure the size. It's not ridiculous that you have one at 7 weeks. Especially because it seems your belly was flattered before. It is mostly not baby, safe, but pregnancy - water, swelling and uterus "space" ready to grow. Congratulations! This was me on Friday at 7+3, first pregnancy. I was wondering about twins, but he's down a little on the weekend, so probably gas/water. Think of its combination of greater appetite, mainly wanting carbohydrates, and that it already had a curved column. Could the dates come out? I miscalculated a pregnancy due to odd periods, and my surprise at the 12-week scan was actually halfway! Just an idea. Yeah, man that looks good. It's your uterus wrapping up to house the little one! Congratulations x I was in 7-week maternity clothes, now 35 weeks and I can't actually fit into some of those! He's a big baby and he likes to push, some of us show up early so don't worry! new thread on this topic ← this thread this thread the screen This is page 1 of 1 (This thread has 24 messages.)
